Recipe #01 Almond Granola (Delicious!)
2 C. Bran
7 C. Oats
1 C. Wheat Germ
2 C. coconut
1 C. Whole almonds
1/2 C. Sesame seeds
1 C. Sunflower seeds
3/4 C. Honey or light molasses or apple juice concentrate
3/4 C. oil
1/2 C. Hot water
1 tsp. Salt
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
Instructions:

Stir first 7 ingredients together in large bowl.

Stir liquids together with salt and pour over dry mixture. Mix together with your hands.

Bake in large cookie sheets at 250 - 300 F (121 - 149 C) for about 1 hour or until dry and lightly toasted (stir every 10 minutes)

Option: Add 1 C. chopped dates, 1 C. raisins, 1/2 C. pumpkin seeds, 1 C. rice polishings.
Simple Granola
4-1/2 C. Quick oatmeal
3-1/2 C. w.w. flour
2 tsp. Salt
1-1/2 C. Unsweetened coconut
1/4 C. Honey or light molasses
1/2 C. Oil
1/2-1 C. water
Instructions:

Stir all ingredients together; crumble on cookie sheets.

Bake at 300 F (149 C) for 1-1/2 hours (stir occasionally). It is done when light brown and baked until hard.

Other grains, such as rice polish or soy, may be used.
Granola With Dates
2-1/2 C. w.w. Flour
2-1/2 C. Quick oats
1 C. Cornmeal
1 C. Soy flour
1/2 C. Cashews
1/2 C. Sesame seeds
1 C. Grated coconut
1 C. Sunflower seeds
1 C. Wheat germ
3/4 C. Water
1 C. Pitted dates
1/2 C. Honey
3/4 C. Oil
2 tsp. Salt
Instructions:

Mix dry ingredients together and set aside.

Blend water and dates; when well blended, add honey, oil and salt. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.

Bake slowly at 275 F. (135 C) until golden. Stir every 20 minutes.
Swiss Breakfast For One
1 Tbsp. Wheat germ
1 tsp. Whole oats
4 Tbsp. Water
1 tsp. Lemon juice
1 Unpeeled apple
Honey to taste
Instructions:

Soak first 3 ingredients overnight. Add lemon juice, honey, nut or coconut milk and mix. Shred on apple and serve.

Scatter on chopped nuts (nutritious).
